1. I've had a bluebird account for a few years and I've never been able to deposit a check with the app.
2. Unfortunately I'm going to have to find a new bank for this functionality is important and just doesn't work.I use Blubird not just as a debit card, but also as a virtual bank, because you get an account number and a routing number, just like a traditional bank account.
3. The only downside is that their app is down a lot for maintenance, but that does not affect card usage, and you can always log onto their website to check your balance, cash checks, etc.
4. Anyway, I've used the bluebird app for just as long as I've had the card and have appreciated its unique navigation compared to other apps and then you guys update the app and it's too difficult to navigate.
5. Whenever I try to take pictures of a check in the app in order to do a mobile deposit, the second it focuses and recognizes it's seeing what it wants to see, the camera view vanishes and no image is uploaded.
6. It took a picture of the back but will not save the front.honestly I have been using them for about 10 years now I don't like the transfer limits between accounts.
7. Now when you're supposed to take a picture of the front and back of the check it just flat out doesn't work in the app crashes.
8. Get it together, Bluebird, this ain't it.I've had my bluebird card for many years now, probably since 2007 or so, maybe longer maybe less who knows.
9. I just got a check from my bank and I cannot deposit it.
10. Otherwise it does what I want lol.I've relied upon (constantly used) this app for well over eight years and can't say enough about it and it's ease of use and functionality.
11. I get paid 2 days earlier than everyone I work with because of using bluebird. This app is pretty basic, and mostly does okay.
Since an app update app says it is offline. Contacted bluebird they said it was my device. Still cannot use the app.
