1. I was hoping to see my statements or card history.It sucks because if you forget your password, then you can't get it reset without already being logged inI can't log in to my account..keeps saying I entered the wrong info .. not only that but it also won't let me update anything ..they don't update this app ..it appears they don't care that it's not working .. wouldn't recommend using this .. here it is may 6 the 2020 & still having the same issues with this app.

2. Dormancy Fee applies if your card account does not reflect any activity (includes purchase transactions cash, withdrawals, addition of funds to your Card or balance inquiries) during the prior 90 days.Pros: I dont have to use a browser to look at my balance.

3. Doesn't seem to do any good to leave review's because app issuer doesn't seem to care if this app works or not ..I also sent them email .. just wondering if that will do any good .

4. It's supposedly being worked on Good thing is no annual or monthly fees.

5. It could also use a lock for if you lose your card.Terrible. Constantly has trouble even getting past the login page.

6. It shows transactions but doesn't tell if you've gotten money or what's being taking out..just shows you numbers.

7. There is also no way to contact anyone other than by snail mail or telephone (it is an automated system with only 4 options and no way to talk to a live person about a problem that is NOT listed as 1 of the options).

8. I'm not sure what the deal is.. I uninstalled & reinstalled to see if that would work but to no avail.. Shame.. Back when it worked, it was easily a 3.5 or 4 star app.Everything seems to be working great.

9. hope this one works out.The app has potential to be good..but it seems the developers just gave it a basic interface and gave up.

10. Don't waste your time downloading this app.At first it was good and now it keeps getting bad.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyVanilla Issues

1. Fix MyVanilla Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyVanilla: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyVanilla App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyVanilla" » Open MyVanilla » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyVanilla » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyVanilla app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyVanilla servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyVanilla" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyVanilla app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyVanilla might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyVanilla. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyVanilla then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyVanilla not working


2. Fix MyVanilla Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyVanilla be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyVanilla not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyVanilla may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
