1. One more question though; Do I STILL need the AVG Anti-virus on THIS Device along with AVG Protection?, as the 'AVG Protection' seems to be an advanced updated version of AVG Anti-virus?! So, do I still need the BOTH Apps on the one & the SAME Device? or shall I now delete the AVG Anti-virus with the AVG Protection to replace it?.. Thank you for ANY information concerning this confusion?!Recent update has gotten rid of the quick buttons on the notification for no reason, now its just a notif saying "your device is protected," on top of that the new design is messy and cluttered, also lacking a basic landscape mode! Worst of all the speed checker no longer works, it shows speeds vastly slower than multiple other speed tests, along with the vpn speeds dropping drastically too! An absolutely awful update! I got that annoyed by it I found and downloaded the 6.56.1 version again!Does not open...

2. Will be uninstalling it now though as it won't work at all on my Google Pixel 6A - had this phone since October 22 and the app is permanently stuck on a start-up screen saying "let's turn on notifications" or something, but won't budge when you press Continue.

1. Fix AVG Protection Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AVG Protection: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AVG Protection App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AVG Protection" » Open AVG Protection » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AVG Protection » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AVG Protection app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AVG Protection servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AVG Protection" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AVG Protection app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AVG Protection might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AVG Protection. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AVG Protection then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AVG Protection not working

2. Fix AVG Protection Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AVG Protection be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AVG Protection not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AVG Protection may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
