1. Love all the different ways you can learn! When you get one wrong in recognition mode, you can view the correct way to write the kanji, and also go to the aspect of the app that lets you write it yourself, over and over if you want, to help reinforce it, then with a couple of taps on the back button, you're back in your recognition "game," right where you left off! Great for complete beginners like me! Thumbs up!!!Overwhelming.
2. A suggestion I have is the ability to show meaning and pronunciations at the same time during recognition questions, so you are learning both at the same time.Very fully featured app, with no ads, to boot! It has 3 very well made learning functions as well as a large and easy to use dictionary in case you are just looking for a single word.
3. There is a reasonably priced paid version as well that adds a few optional features, but again, this app has everything you could want!Great for all levels of Japanese skills whether you're a complete beginner, starting in the middle as an intermediate, or trying to go beyond into the advanced levels.
4. The dictionary's about the only useful thing here if you get hung up on bad explanations and odd design choices. This is the BEST app that I know of for learning kanji! It has tons of features and options.
5. On top of all of that, the app is both small and fast, and free! (and did I mention there aren't ads?) Definitely worth getting for learning Japanese or for the dictionary alone.
6. I like the dark theme, and I am interested in what other options you are going to add. This probably the best app for learning kanji available on the Play store.
7. (If you look hard enough, you'll find the ability to upgrade to a premium version, which adds a few things like saving on multiple devices, but the free version is certainly not handicapped.) It is SO well done.
8. Also, the spaced repetition list is a great feature, but it overlaps the recognition, writing, and reading sections.
9. Totally worth my time and hey, it's free. This makes it very easy to squeeze lessons in when I have a bit of spare time.
10. If you are studying kanji, you owe it to yourself to pick this up!love it, but the color scheme choice in options doesn't work for me.
11. Problem is, learning 10 alien concepts and words at a time is overwhelming.
