Yardbook Customer Insights

1. I'm able to invoice customers and they can pay through that email with a credit card.Okay the app has plenty of cool features except when I send a invoice I need the ability to have the customer sign that they received the electronic invoice! Also not all customers have email accounts there needs to be a SMS feature allowing for invoices to be texted, the app in on the phone so why not have text capabilities? Other than that everything is Gucci still getting familiar with the app, will check back with a update soon...As a landscaping company owner, this app makes life 10 times easier in so many ways.

2. Also Please allow invoices and receipts to be sent through the phone! It'd save alot of time! I think the website is great! I absolutely love it, keep up the good work yardbook!I like that it is free, the route optimization helps me a lot after selecting customers close to each other and scheduling them together by looking at the map is the best.

3. But, Yardbooks eliminates alot of stress and makes managing your business easier! Only fault I find is I'm not sure how to edit "Items to add to Invoice" once they're saved.Get the premium if you are doing a bunch of transactions Can't set up jobs from the app.

Otherwise, I highly recommend this app if you run a landscaping company.So far every time I try to log into the app it tells me invalid email address and then then it kicks me over to Chrome and open the site where I can log-in fine I don't know what I'm doing wrongThis has to be the best app we have ever used.

5. I love that I'm able to keep track of each Customer, Invoices, Estimates, Paid or Pending status, Jobs, Routes, etc.

6. Just need more features for the app.I use both yardbook and service autopilot's professional version.

7. If it doesn't recognize an adress on the map it won't put the job in the list so you have a chance to miss doing that customer the day it is scheduled.

8. Also the app on the phone is really helpful but it should have an option to show all the notes from previews times.It is really easy to use after getting familiar with all the many functions of the software.

9. But it'd be nice to see what's scheduled on your calendar for the week or month (birds eye view) add things in the schedule, it's a bit plain.

10. But I was paying over $350 per month for service autopilot and less than $50 for yardbook.

11. There is only one thing yardbook is missing and that is a client portal.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Yardbook Issues

1. Fix Yardbook Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Yardbook: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Yardbook App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Yardbook" » Open Yardbook » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Yardbook » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Yardbook app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Yardbook servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Yardbook" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Yardbook app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Yardbook might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Yardbook. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Yardbook then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Yardbook not working


2. Fix Yardbook Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Yardbook be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Yardbook not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Yardbook may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
