1. When you are on call and lives are dependent on you hearing your phone when a colleague is reaching out to you for advice, including in the dead of night, but the phone won't ring, makes this app extremely dangerous.

2. It'll dial the number if single tap and dials it WITHOUT the area code (so even when I call the hospital from a message, single click doesn't work).

3. I tried everything I could think of but it would not change to pager or alarm which I would need when I am on call.Repeatedly stops audio notification, just vibration.

4. Working around this delays patient care 😡Suddenly app won't let me change notification sounds, it's stuck on some gentle sound which wouldn't wake up anyone.

5. Hopefully can be resolved as it looks like this problem has been ongoing with this app.Using on Android phone.

6. Pages will be sent to my phone but no Audio notification, only a 2 pulse vibration.

7. I had been getting the ring tone when a message came in, fine for 4 now as of last week, it no longer chimes.

8. This currently isn't.I use Android, used to be able to click on the phone number to append # into my Phone App, then could add *67 in front before dialing.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Amtelco Secure Messages Issues

1. Fix Amtelco Secure Messages Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Amtelco Secure Messages: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Amtelco Secure Messages App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Amtelco Secure Messages" » Open Amtelco Secure Messages » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Amtelco Secure Messages » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Amtelco Secure Messages app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Amtelco Secure Messages servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Amtelco Secure Messages" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Amtelco Secure Messages app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Amtelco Secure Messages might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Amtelco Secure Messages. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Amtelco Secure Messages then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Amtelco Secure Messages not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Amtelco Secure Messages be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
