ViewER Customer Insights

1. I hope in the future dev will support to open files from micro sd/external memory as my internal memory has limit capacity.I can't review yet as I can't open files from Dropbox.

2. If fixed it would be great for clients to view my models.As 3d viewer app this application actually good with some limitations, one of limitations/downside that notable it can't open file from micro sd card.

3. Why do you request Dropbox access if I cannot browse my Dropbox space? The app is not useful if I have to transfer files to my phone.Hey, after the update I cant open anything.

4. Upsides: Easy to open and view files.

5. When I open the app It says opening, and continues to do that.

6. Review based on Rhino 3D (.3dm) models only.

7. Orbit function is a bit too sensitive for me, but navigation is good and will be familiar to 3D modellers.

8. Layer visibility is retained from Rhino's last save.

9. Blocks don't display in position - looks like their 'block origin' is moved to 0,0,0.

10. Downsides: Layer/material colours aren't imported.

11. Easy to control layers.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ViewER Issues

1. Fix ViewER Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ViewER: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ViewER App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ViewER" » Open ViewER » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ViewER » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ViewER app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ViewER servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ViewER" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ViewER app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ViewER might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ViewER. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ViewER then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ViewER not working


2. Fix ViewER Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ViewER be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ViewER not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ViewER may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
