1. The Kardia app is designed to make managing heart care from home easier than ever, giving you the ability to seamlessly record EKGs, share heart data with your doctor remotely, keep track of your health history, and more.
2. Kardia works with the FDA-cleared KardiaMobile, KardiaMobile 6L, or KardiaBand personal EKG devices, which can detect the most common arrhythmias in just 30 seconds.
3. For additional analysis, you can choose to send the recording to your physician or to one of our partners for a Clinician Review by a cardiologist (US, Australia only) or cardiac care physiologist (UK, Ireland only).
4. Get an immediate result from Kardia's Instant Analysis of normal, possible atrial fibrillation, bradycardia, or tachycardia.
5. Capture a medical-grade EKG with your Kardia device anytime, anywhere—no patches, wires, or gels required.
6. The Kardia system is recommended by leading cardiologists and used by people around the world for accurate EKG recordings.
7. Track your heart health data from home with the medical accuracy your doctor can trust.
8. NOTE: This app requires KardiaMobile, KardiaMobile 6L, or KardiaBand hardware to record an EKG.
9. Get your Kardia device now at alivecor. com.
1. When preparing to record, and when annotating, tagging and saving a recording, you are constantly wading through attempts to sell you services through Kardia; and recording lying down or in any other position from which the screen isn't visible, is difficult, because there are no prompts or sounds to tell you when recording starts and stops, or progress.
2. In addition to the privacy concerns, and the fact that it is so badly wrong that it incurs notifications for locations I've never been to, location services will overheat a phone, drain its battery, or worse if it ever finds itself in an area with insufficient tracking data points, so I keep it OFF at all times.
3. Concur with other revues that location requirement is crazy for medical application; has no bearing.Bluetooth connection to Omron blood pressure used to have occasional problems, but that is much better or completely fixed.
4. Simple device, but deficient app.I like the device I bought, and what it does, but I'm very peeved that this app refuses to operate the device without running Google's location services.
5. Tagging and notes dialogs and buttons don't always fit on the screen; and reporting steps are disorganized.Requires Google location services to be enabled.
6. Out of comical frustration, I placed the Kardia device directly on top of my phone, placed my fingers on the pads and it worked.
7. I replaced the battery in the device, reinstalled the app, ensured that the app had access to the microphone and every other sensor, including bluetooth.
8. Then it says to place my fingers on the electrodes at the same time.I used Kardia a handful of times a year or so ago and it worked fine.
9. But I have several devices connected to my phone via Bluetooth, and location services is not enabled.
10. EDIT: I finally managed to get someone to tell me via email that Alivecor does not share any data with Google.
11. In addition there is no way to check the connection/reconnect to the device without logging out, which causes the accumulated data to disappear.
