1. The AusPost app lets you safely and easily track and manage your parcels on your smart device. • Automatic parcel tracking – Eligible parcels will automatically show in your track list if matched to your account - no need to add tracking numbers. • Track and manage parcels – Easily track and manage all your parcels in one place without checking emails. • Set delivery preferences – Request parcels be left in a safe place or redirect while in transit (if eligible). • Proof of delivery – View photos of where your parcel is left (if eligible). • 2-hour delivery notification – Set your preferences to receive a 2-hour delivery window where available once the parcel is on board for delivery. • Sharing collection authority – Authorise someone else to collect a parcel for you from the Post Office. • Collection QR code – Use the app’s collection QR code to collect missed deliveries from the Post Office (instead of a physical card). • Convenient collection – Collect parcels from a free 24/7 Parcel Locker at a time that suits you.
2. When you’re nearby, we’ll send a notification to give you easy access to your Parcel Locker (background location permission must be enabled).
3. AusPost also provides a watch app with Wear OS, which syncs to our phone app.
4. Terms and conditions apply.
5. With the watch app, you can get tracking notifications, nickname your parcels using your voice, and easily open your Parcel Locker with a QR code – all from your wrist.
1. For example, while giving somebody a "pickup authority" I would like to know why or feeling certain fields is necessary? (BTW, there is an oversight/bug in the "pickup authority"; the final form that includes QRCode, doesn't contain the address of LPO from which to pickup the parcel.Great for tracking parcel and registered mail.
2. If I pay a massive increased fee for express post, and it promises next day delivery, I can expect that "on time" to change each and every day for a week before the parcel actually arrives.
3. For an example, my door bell and intercom is out of order but I am home to receive the delivery but unlike door dash, there is no place in the Aus Post app to tell you this important information.
4. Used to be beautiful and colorful, well thought out (still is in this regard), but the recent updates switched to a font that doesn't fit the theme of the app, and the colorful action bars that used to indicate the status of a parcel is now just… Gray.
5. 💌📮I've used many tracking apps for packages and mail involving domestic, international, inbound, outbound, plus my being in Aus., USA OR Malaysia and, the AusPost app is one of the best.
6. Great service saves you multiple trips to the post office, and you can do a number of things all from the comfort of the app.
7. AusPost's only failings have been due to other international postal services' errors or lack of recording accountability.it is a useless app that goes around in circles.
8. Got new phone, when I tried to sign in it is sending a verification email to an address I don't have access on my phone, looks like it thinks i'm trying to set up a new account not log in.
9. You can use the app without registering but if you do register when senders include your email address the app will automatically add the packages for your tracking list.
10. finally I managed to get through to a real person for them to tell me they can't help me nor change things in the system to retrieve the package.
11. not sent verification i now says too many verification emailsnot accurate has been so long, and it's the same issue all the time.

Auspost collects significant personal information and yet it is the most insecure app I have ever used. It is impossible to permanently log out or deactivate/delete my account using your app or website.
When I log out of the app and uninstall it, any stranger with access to my phone can download the app and it automatically logs in to my account with no saved password no confirmation of my screen lock or any other security measure. I discovered this trying to log out of an unused account to log in to the account I use most often. This is impossible. Which is frustrating. But automatically logging in to my account without any check / entering a password undoes all of the security efforts auspost goes to in the creation of the account. It is unbelievable. The postal service and privacy of mail is governed by federal law all of which is entirely pointless when your service automatically volunteers the information of the individual without any bad actor or Ill intention required.
Thankfully in addition to my Australian permanent residency I am an EU resident and citizen (republic of Ireland) and am therefore entitled under the GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation, to instruct you to erase all information associated with this account (which I do not use anyway) or face fines for violation of this request.
I strongly suggest however, in your own interests, that after you delete my account and data. You fix the issue with your app and website before customers are taken advantage of.
I have no choice but to use auspost in the future and it would be preferable if doing so did not risk identity theft, blackmail or other crimes your app facilitates.
Please delete this account.
