The Wall Street Journal. Customer Insights

1. Why are there ads in a paid only app? Also, the number of anti-vax ads is alarming.Half of the articles I can't open, with the error "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)." in black text on a white background.

2. They did a visual redesign sometime ago that made it harder to find what you want so thats inconvenient, but not unusable. After all this time you'd think that the app would be able to correctly do simple things like open an image/illustration so that you could examine it closely.

3. The one annoying thing that occurs numerous times while reading the articles is that when an article is closed, the screen reverts back to the beginning of the list of articles instead of to where the article that was just closed is located.

4. Issues with notifications are just far too common and should not continue to occur. The below is true about the content but I'm tired of seeing a blank screen and the words "content unavailable" at the bottom of the screen.

5. The app can still use improvement on many fronts, for instance the way it connects to the web, some articles will just take you online which sucks, I have an app because I want an app version! The search engine is pretty inaccurate, I don't get why it won't just return any keyword, simply by c/p the headline.

6. I've been subscribed for 7 months now, I love reading the finance news and find the reporting on a higher caliber.

7. A list of available videos would be nice.I'd like the ability to turn off the notification that "today's paper has been downloaded".

8. I like being able to go through and open tabs for what I'm going to read, then go back when I have time and read them all.

9. Have never been able to get the app to allow me to sign in, even after following every piece of advice about re-installing, device configuration, etc.

10. I assume the function works on some devices, but it sure doesn't work on mine, which is a modern and popular phone, the pixel 6A.

11. Please fix this, so I can read the articles I am paying a subscription to read.
