1. Highly recommendedIf it stops working, reinstall it ,i was not happy at first, kept reading 0%, but the reinstall fixed itI have been playing for 30 plus years and really didn't think about actually tuning drums until the last few years so I have been experimenting a lot.

2. Trying tuning the reso head to a 1.5 ratio, and your reso head will have a lower frequency than your batter head, which I prefer.

3. I did have an issue this last time where I couldn't get RTF to change even thought I kept changing tuning, but just showed me RTF of 1.I have been a garage drummer for 45 plus years.

1. Fix Drum Tuner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Drum Tuner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Drum Tuner App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Drum Tuner" » Open Drum Tuner - iDrumTune Pro » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Drum Tuner » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Drum Tuner - iDrumTune Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Drum Tuner servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Drum Tuner - iDrumTune Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Drum Tuner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Drum Tuner might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Drum Tuner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Drum Tuner then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Drum Tuner not working

2. Fix Drum Tuner Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Drum Tuner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Drum Tuner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Drum Tuner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
