1. After you’ve identified your desired trip and transit departure time, you can buy and use Metro Transit mobile tickets right from your smartphone – it’s like having a ticket machine right in your pocket!
2. Just like with paper tickets, you're responsible for making sure you have a valid fare at all times, so be sure to plan ahead! • Activate your ticket when you see your bus or train approaching.
3. Now you can plan your trip, see departure information for buses and trains, and buy transit tickets all on the go!
4. The Metro Transit app is a tool to make riding the bus, METRO system and Northstar in the Twin Cities a little bit easier.
5. Pay a single fare or multiple fares for a group of riders, and store multiple tickets on your phone for future use.
6. Paul metro area as mobile as you are with the official Metro Transit app.
7. See the next available bus, light rail, or train for your desired trip with NexTrip.
8. Simply create an account and enter your credit/debit card information in our secure system.
9. Find the right bus, light rail, or train for you through the Trip Planner.
10. If you’re looking to pay with cash, you can use a pre-paid debit card or pre-paid gift card. 1. 2. 3. 4.
11. Your ticket must be activated before boarding a vehicle. • Watch your battery level...
1. Identical tickets don't "stack" visually anymore, resulting in the need to scroll though a list of tiny text to find the specific ticket you need in a different spot every time.
2. Metro Transit could at the very least remove it from Google Play.Easy to buy tickets and save them, and allegedly you can use multiple at a time but I haven't done that yet.
3. Nothing stacks, you can't buy things quickly, the interface is hard to navigate and all the buttons are difficult to differentiate from each other, you can't buy multiple tickets at the same time etc.
4. Also, the app isn't allowing me to make any changes to my account (other then editing my email/password.) I wanted to delete a credit card I added to the app, it doesn't allow me to (I'm not sure if this is a bug in the app or the way it was designed.) Either way... Switching back to cash... Using app only if an emergency! It keeps showing that it has no network access.
5. Slow, clunky, and I can no longer pay by PayPal, which I trust- I have to put my card information into an app that doesn't work very well? Time to keep an eye on my bank account, because I do still need to get to work.
6. Since the app isn't smart enough to start another trip from inside a ride in progress, the route planning proved useless and by the time i was able to deceipher the routes and where the originally intended transfer was, it was too late.
7. And instead of being able to buy multiple tickets at a time, you can only buy them one at a time.
8. TV is update is worthless and makes taking the bus harder. To be blunt, I prefer the previous version of Metro Transit's App over this new version.
9. This is awful.Downgraded. The app used to be easy to use, but now all the tickets are just tossed onto the dashboard in the order they were bought, instead of having two buttons with the total # of tickets shown.
10. Also looks worse, for what that's worth! No more stylish little animation on the ticket.Whoever designs Metro Transit's app/website really hates riders.
11. This assumes the "View all schedules & maps" button doesn't need to be pushed a few times to work.
I would like to delete my metro transit account with its details and data
