metroNotify Customer Insights

1. Checked my settings and notifications are on.The app is never up to date with when the trains are running, so unreliable, a total waste of time.Line Status doesn't give any information about planned disruptions that are on the PTV website and announced at the station.

2. For Belgrave I select "Planned Works", and it shows "PLANNED WORKS 31 JAN - 1 JAN" with a link "see full details", I click on that, and it shows me information about a car park closure at Surrey Hills Station.

3. Click refresh does not fix this either and only shows that my train line has good service (when I just got notified of an issue?).

4. What good is the app then?Pretty helpful, however, please implement a way to remove a trip or at least enable/disable notifications for it.Download the app this morning.

5. The other major issue is that it only shows timetabled times, not when the train is actually going to arrive like Google maps.

6. OK, it's called Metro Notify BUT I need to be able to turn notifications off from within the app for us part-timers or while on holidays.Notifications haven't been working since I installed this app two weeks ago.

7. It's only good for going to work in the morning as I can't see the reverse trip for going home.

8. 2 major gripes however, you can't view trip information when there's a delay (it covers all service information).

9. The announcement this morning and the PTV website tell me about buses replacing trains from Friday between Belgrave and Ringwood.

10. This functionality should be integrated into the PTV app or any other app that has timetables in it.I get nearly endless joy from laughing as other train lines experience delays, then I get cancellations.

11. Not good if you subscribe to notifications for morning updates.
