1. Some bring you to a page about purchasing a Pass when you've already got one & are logged in into your account! I was able to purchase a reservation for Eurostar-London St Pancras Intn'l to Brussels Midi, but not on Thalys to NL & local trains though they showed up.I've used this for one full day of travel so far.
2. Practically as soon as you get on the train it stops displaying your ride and doesn't have the "show ticket" button. The app always plans the most obtuse route to your destination.
3. For example, I'm trying to get into Füssen or Hohenschwangau to visit some castles but those stations won't show up.It's good because it easily lets you see all the trains and routes you can take.
4. 2) missing stations and trains 3) no link to seat reservation system from planner 4) via option but no avoid option 4) algorithms that take you hours and miles out of the way from origin to destination.
5. When I want to add a journey to a trip I don't want then to tick a box to create a train ticket and then go find it it somewhere else.
6. Yet somehow even with ID and a ticket that was purchased from an agent that confirmed the pass had been activated, more hoops on the app that were less clear had to be jumped through to get a QR code that we honestly weren't aware was necessary.
7. There is very limited utility if you are trying to plan ahead of time for an extensive trip.
8. AVOID PURCHASE!!!!Fine for finding train routes... But for everything else it's buggy.
9. To get your pass barcode up when the inspector comes takes can take literally forever sometimes as it'll freeze up if you go through a network change (i.e. a tunnel) anytime in the 30-60 seconds it takes to load up the pass screen.
10. This may just be a issue in Spain, but it was not user friendly or intuitive. This is a Non-Intuitive app for a 1st time user of the app.
11. If you need to reserve a seat, it'll show that a trip is available even if there are no reservations left.
I can't login on the DiscoverEU Travel App so I want to remake my account to hopefully make it work
