Why should I report an Issue with Gaspy - Fuel Prices?

1. Guess gas spy just needs some competition... Edit: to respond to the developers WE update your prices of the fuel not you so why bombard us with so many ads your $1.69 answer isn't enough of a good reason to show us so many ads when WE update the prices total disconnect from its user base!Great app thank you, let's beat the greedy petrol suppliers! I sort by price first to get an idea of the cheapest price, then sort by distance and go to the closest place that has the closest to the lowest price.

2. Won't be rre-installingThe developers sabotaged the app with the latest update with the Z and Caltex gas stations, then release a new update and it crashes on my phone, I uninstall it, and the install hangs, but eventually installs after a long delay.

3. Considering how much fuel prices vary across Auckland, this app is so important!The rate is different, the actual price is much more higher and not allowed to update the price as well.

4. Funny thing is, even though we had location on, it told us we couldnt update the fuel price because we had to be near the station, we were right next to the pump.

5. Absolute shame cause was much better without all the fancy stuff.Its OK but always shows petrol stations not local usually on the other side of the city.

6. Prior to the updates, all you had to do was enter in your location and it would populate all the gas stations nearby.

1. Fix Gaspy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Gaspy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Gaspy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Gaspy" » Open Gaspy - Fuel Prices » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Gaspy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Gaspy - Fuel Prices app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Gaspy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Gaspy - Fuel Prices" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Gaspy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Gaspy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Gaspy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Gaspy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Gaspy not working

2. Fix Gaspy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Gaspy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Gaspy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Gaspy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
