PocketDoc Customer Insights

1. Only complaint is that my new insurance automatically assigned a different doctor, and while that was easy to correct via a phone call, the app returned an error message about having a different doctor and wouldn't let me check in for my appointment.

2. I use this in conjunction with my nutritionist and want to be able to be more transparent and update things I forgot to mention 😅Overall, this is app is quick to download and install, easy to use, and had immaculate video and sound.

3. The video quality is very good the sound is very good we see and hear each other at normal hearing levels and the camera is clear.

4. Definitely hadn't had this good of connectivity or something before with other apps.The app was easy to use, the picture and sound was clear.

5. Signing in was a breeze--I didn't have to hunt for the correct tab to find my visit before initiating the link to my doctor.

6. Thanks to my provider and PocketDoc for making my well-being their priority.Tried to install but confusing and ultimately didn't work at all.

7. Setup was easy, and took roughly 5 minutes, instead of the lengthy process with other medical apps I've used.

8. Choppy video and sound didn't work.

9. It would be nice if there was a way to tell the app "I called my insurance company and switched to the correct doctor, please proceed".Absolutely garbage app.

10. I like the app 👍🏼 I suppose you have to uninstall and reinstall every so many months the camera failed me again so I just uninstall reinstall and it's fineWorked great.

11. I'd argue this is the gold standard for providers in need of an easy method to get care to their patients.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PocketDoc Issues

1. Fix PocketDoc Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PocketDoc: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PocketDoc App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PocketDoc" » Open PocketDoc by Perlman Clinic » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PocketDoc » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PocketDoc by Perlman Clinic app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PocketDoc servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PocketDoc by Perlman Clinic" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PocketDoc app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PocketDoc might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PocketDoc. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PocketDoc then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PocketDoc not working


2. Fix PocketDoc Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PocketDoc be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PocketDoc not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PocketDoc may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
