This is very frustrating considering how many trails will not have reliable service.Haven't even used it yet and found the local North Coast inland trail map is not up to date and the new section has been open for over a year! So glad I did a guest sign in, sounds like it's a real pain to make a profile !!!! Deleting this app right now!!!My first and only option when the app opened up was to give it permission for my location at all times.

2. Would try again in the future after improvements are made thoughI am offended that my tax dollars were used to create this app! Total waste of my money! The log in is intrusive, why do you need my full name, phone number, date of birth and last four digits of my ssn to see a trail map? The app itself looks like a ripped off and dumbed down version of the app AllTrails.

3. The maps are basically useless when there's no signal on the trail, and it you can't download the maps to use offline, there's no real reason to have the app using space.Nice idea but sill needs a LOT of work.

4. Do they know you stole their design concept? Thanks but I'll be deleting your app and I'll stick to using AllTrails.I hope I get to update this review but for the moment... The app is slow and many of the features are very bug-y including the offline options.

5. Does show trails, but really the utility is not here and I'd rather use OSMAnd instead so I can get info on features along the route.This has the potential to be a great app and a great resource, but it needs work.

6. Feels heavy when scrolling and doesn't seem to offer local caching or cache is as slow as data connection.

1. Fix Ohio Trails Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ohio Trails: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ohio Trails App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ohio Trails" » Open Ohio Trails - DETOUR » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ohio Trails » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ohio Trails - DETOUR app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ohio Trails servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ohio Trails - DETOUR" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ohio Trails app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ohio Trails might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ohio Trails. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ohio Trails then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ohio Trails not working

2. Fix Ohio Trails Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ohio Trails be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ohio Trails not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ohio Trails may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
