Why should I report an Issue with Exif Insights - photo metadata?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of mettyw to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Currently unable to filter out specific lenses or anything really except the date.At last found an app that captures the Exif UserComment field! Other apps and programs ignore that field.

2. I'm particularly a fan of the gallery where one can see the folder full of thumbnails, select one and have all of the pertinent information displayed beneath, including a map, and then being able to view the next image in the same manner simply by swiping across.

3. So much better at accessing and displaying EXIF data than most other apps I've found and used.

4. My interest is GPS and date time using Google Photos info as an alternative to EXIF.

5. Would be great if that table were exportable in CSV or TXT for analyzing in spreadsheet.It would be neat if it gave insight on Google Photos library.

6. Every other app makes you go back to the folder and choose the next image each time.

7. In other words, it is a junk app.Would be more useful with a more comprehensive filter options.

8. All the Exif data is available in tabular format.

9. I installed, immediately put it to use on my library and the metadata was recorded as the minute the app was installed.

10. Really needs to be able to filter on every shown metric at the very least.

1. Fix Exif Insights Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Exif Insights: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Exif Insights App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Exif Insights" » Open Exif Insights - photo metadata » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Exif Insights » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Exif Insights - photo metadata app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Exif Insights servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Exif Insights - photo metadata" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Exif Insights app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Exif Insights might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Exif Insights. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Exif Insights then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Exif Insights not working

2. Fix Exif Insights Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Exif Insights be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Exif Insights not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Exif Insights may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
