1. Annoying, it would've been rated higherThis app works great! I installed it yesterday to replace Google Play Music which is going away and it is a significant upgrade.

2. Using a Samsung Galaxy s21Just bought the Pro version bc I liked it enough as a replacement following the retirement of the Play Music app.

3. My music seems to sound better now.Looked great when I purchased it but after using it for a week or so I've noticed the flaws.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Music Player Issues

1. Fix Music Player Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Music Player: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Music Player App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Music Player" » Open Music Player - MP3 & Audio » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Music Player » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Music Player - MP3 & Audio app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Music Player servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Music Player - MP3 & Audio" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Music Player app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Music Player might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Music Player. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Music Player then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Music Player not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Music Player be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Music Player not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Music Player may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
