MyDEMCO Customer Insights

1. Why would you make it so you have to get information in the app, but confirm via browser??? PLEASE get a real designer to talk to your tech people! How about sending "guestimates" on power restoration? Members need to make plans! Old app worked better! Even the outage map!There is no longer an option to get notifications when there is a power outage in your area or to get notifications when there is an estimated time of power restoration my opinion the old app was betterI downloaded this app because a friend of mine has it on her phone obviously she has the older version where you can see your daily usage I don't think dimco wants us to see our daily usage power was out for 2 and a 1/2 weeks and yet my bill not the it's not the price of it but the kilowatt hours are ridiculous there's no possible wayWould love it if this app would work and let me sign in to my account to pay my bill.

2. So that being said other than checking daily usage I will definitely use the app for outage checking/reporting and payments.Missing functionality vs the old DEMCO app, even missing daily usage vs same app on the iPhone... Reporting outage no longer immediately shows the exact location dot on outage map & leads you to wonder if it actually went through.

3. It was hard to began with getting my account set up, I even had ro call demco once to get some of the information, it was a couple numbers different from what my bill had.

4. Billing/payment options are streamlined & better.First. Why does everything need to have *my* in front of it? Why not just "Demco" or "Demco Coop"? Second.

5. I've tried to reinstall the app but it keeps saying there was a login error and to try again.I am having problems registering on your new program, and.i can't talk to anyone on your phone.

6. Only complaint I have is the usage section does not load daily or weekly usage.

7. Definitely quicker and easier to use than web browser so far, but the web browser also the daily usage section is not functioning properly as well.

8. Only the billed usage shows, for only the last year.

9. Once that was done I had no problems paying and looking at my bill.

10. It's a very easy app to use to pay you bill with A must have.

11. When Demco change to My Demco I changed the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyDEMCO Issues

1. Fix MyDEMCO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyDEMCO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyDEMCO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyDEMCO" » Open MyDEMCO » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyDEMCO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyDEMCO app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyDEMCO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyDEMCO" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyDEMCO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyDEMCO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyDEMCO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyDEMCO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyDEMCO not working


2. Fix MyDEMCO Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyDEMCO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyDEMCO not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyDEMCO may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
