1. Theft might be a strong word but it's pretty close to what happens.Since moving to Yango it's a disaster From parking your scooter to actually paying it takes more than 1nis Put helmet back ok still gives errors Taking a picture takes forever And the most important thing is missing - cs I've made my share of comments and reviews- not even a single email back or refund for such bad experiences.

2. The minimum charge is $10, $6 for a quick ride and $4 for the time it takes to find parkingIssues with ending ride, app low responsiveness, support tickets don't give notification, especially slow between screens, over charging before ride starts and ends.

3. Please further develop this, it's a pity poor application development harms the good scooter experience.Since Wind was acquired by Yango there is a huge decline in the total quality of suggested service.

4. Cant end the ride because the stupid app thinks the helmet is not returned and they keep charging you for rental time!!! Plain theft.

5. Also support doesn't respond.The app works so badly it freezes and hang, during which time you can't ride and still pay them.

6. Also, there is no customer service, so if you have a problem you on your own.Detects me ~10m from where I am, doesn't let me start the ride.

7. Because as there will be a stronger and more providing competitor I will definitely take them.Poor onboarding experience that is unclear and takes a very long time.

8. The worst part is that they charge you extra every ride for bo reason! Pure scam.

9. There are better options out there..Worst application, product and customer support.

10. Avoid if given an option to ride a Lime or Dott.

11. The app does not work 50% of the times, the scooters have many bugs, you have to validate your license too many times and you never get a notification about that in advance.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Yango Wind Issues

1. Fix Yango Wind Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Yango Wind: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Yango Wind App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Yango Wind" » Open Yango Wind - e-scooter sharing » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Yango Wind » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Yango Wind - e-scooter sharing app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Yango Wind servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Yango Wind - e-scooter sharing" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Yango Wind app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Yango Wind might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Yango Wind. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Yango Wind then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Yango Wind not working


2. Fix Yango Wind Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Yango Wind be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Yango Wind not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Yango Wind may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
