1. Being able to see your location on the map definitely helped, but my single complaint is that I wish you could see wait times when you have your GPS off to save battery.The ride times are NEVER accurate, the app will say a restaurant or ride is open when it's not and it doesn't keep count of my visits.

2. For example: On 5 different phones including Samsung and Apple (app downloaded from itunes) the wait time listed for Copper Head ride is 5 minutes.

3. You have to wait until the marker moves to see if you are actually walking in the right direction.The app currently shows "Scarowinds" stuff on the home page and it is now March?? Seriously?? App constantly sends the same push notification for season dining plan and the app alone has no ability to edit settings.

4. Our party separated based on estimated wait times and ended up wasting a lot of time apart because of the bad information.This app is worse than useless for walking directions since the arrow does not correctly adjust to where you want to go.

5. in reality it was more than 1.5 hours.After the last 2 updates this app is broken.Map shows you walking through areas you can't walk through and doesn't track correctly at all.Ride times are completely inaccurate , 20 mins is really 2 hrs on every ride.

6. The wait times were not even close to being correct (10 min vs 3 hours), rides were showing being closed or down when they weren't and the map function isn't very helpful.

7. However, the park doesn't update wait times for the app, which is the main reason I got the app.

8. Hey tech ! Here's a tip , add a "who has ice" pin marker on the map since carowinds doesn't care when they are out of EVERYTHING...Wait times are a lie.

9. As others have said the wait times are always inaccurate (and have been for almost 2 years).

10. Will be deleting it.Calendar has issues and is not updated with changes and this year's calendar (2019) has not even been posted.

11. The interactive map was great for finding rides and places to eat, and it allowed me to navigate the park better than some I've been to 5+ times.

1. Fix Carowinds Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Carowinds: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Carowinds App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Carowinds" » Open Carowinds » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Carowinds » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Carowinds app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Carowinds servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Carowinds" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Carowinds app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Carowinds might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Carowinds. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Carowinds then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Carowinds not working

2. Fix Carowinds Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Carowinds be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Carowinds not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Carowinds may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
