1. It mainly allows your phone to serve as a remote control for the camera.You have to follow instructions on how to connect your device to the camera's wifi, but once connected it works exactly as described and so far no glitch or crashes.

2. Price too good to be true.Good app now I've figured out how it connects my cross tour camera too WiFi and phone etc.. Very simple to use and helpful! I found though that it will disconnect my WiFi connection after a few minutes.

3. As Steven said in his review, you need to close the app, connect to the camera wifi from phone wifi settings, turn off data and maybe Bluetooth and only then can it connect properly.

4. I use this app with the Surfola SF300, and it's great! From connectivity, and stability, to their support, and ease of use, I have little to complain about, especially, for free.Since the last update when I download videos from the camera onto my phone, the videos don't show up in my photo gallery.

  3. Clear DV KING 4K app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DV KING 4K servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DV KING 4K" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DV KING 4K app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DV KING 4K might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DV KING 4K. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DV KING 4K then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DV KING 4K not working

  • Hello
    I’m having issues with this app. I have a COOAU action camera, which is working well. Once I offload the videos on the dv King 4K app though onto my iPhone 12 Pro, I’m unable to play the videos. It’s like the app is somehow transforming the videos into a format that is not recognised by the phone? Can you please advice ASAP?

  • How can I free up space on the app? I’ve deleted the footage on the app after I download the footage onto my phone. The storage is full. I wish I didn’t have to download to the app before downloading to my phone.
