1. The time spent on this app is filled with stress-relieving expletives.I've only been using it for a month, but it's annoying that upon opening the app, I don't see obvious options like email, change payment method, alter plan, change address... Really frustrating to have to go through the "help" option for most things I need! Also, whenever I try to check Diamond Rewards, the page times out before the page loads, every time! Not too keen on this app so far!App has not worked for years.
2. Since you can't call anyone easily, this is the primary method of contact. Not only is it a ridiculous idea to force users to troubleshoot their down internet with an internet-dependent application (calling is a nightmare btw), it's also ridiculous to make them use a *broken* app.
3. For example, the port forwarding screen just gives an error every time and it's been like this as long as I have the app.
4. They should have a "power user mode" or something.I've been an xfinity customer and user of the various apps for years.
5. It is not possible to do it in the router admin screens, which makes zero sense to begin with, but even less sense when the app doesn't work.
6. Worse, you cannot even set things like port forwarding on your router directly, and must use the app.Worthless app.
7. It can come up with so many varieties of such downtime - "Sorry, that didn't work; try again later," or the wonderous circling of the image and it does nothing in the end.
8. But the absolute worst part is that Comcast forces you to use this app to do things like port forwarding.
9. Tried to troubleshoot it through the app, but all it does is send you to a garbage chatbot whose only response is, "This message didn't send.
10. App is unable to interface with Xfinity routers and simply says an "unexpected error occurred", which has stumped Xfinity representatives at 2 stores I have gone to.
11. Everything else has trouble loading, or I get the error message saying: "were having trouble, contact an agent" etc.
