Why should I report an Issue with HiiKER: The Offline Hiking app?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Gives you directions to the trail head, and being able to download the maps for offline use on the trail, with way points, and it's also got different options of routes you can take on each trail.

2. I would also prefer if it were possible to show all amenities on the map at the same time, or select which ones you would like to see, instead of just being able to select one categorie.I find app good.

3. And the worst thing - many times recording just stops! And the route is lost!!!Ok basic mapping app.

5. The creating of routes and the clunky way different maps are handled is just awful.

6. Freezing app during hikes It happens that the app will freeze while other apps are accessible on my phone.

7. There is no way of creating list for routes that you have created yourself, no off route notifications, no way of naming waymarks.

11. It does not warn you if you are in a power saving mode, with GPS not working properly but I hear they are working on that as well.

1. Fix HiiKER Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart HiiKER: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the HiiKER App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HiiKER" » Open HiiKER: The Offline Hiking app » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HiiKER » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear HiiKER: The Offline Hiking app app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HiiKER servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HiiKER: The Offline Hiking app" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check HiiKER app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HiiKER might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall HiiKER. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HiiKER then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HiiKER not working

2. Fix HiiKER Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HiiKER be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HiiKER not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HiiKER may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
