1. I'd leave no stars if possible,this app is useless! It crashes in the middle of a survey without a way back, if I get through a whole survey, it crashes before uploading, if I go back to the email link to start the survey over I get the red screen that says I'm already in a survey and would I like to resume, but when I click on "Resume" nothing happens.

2. First survey was very short just about a Lego website, ran smoothly enough.Glitchy. Could be on the people creating the study but have had things break on desktop with different browsers tried and no add-ons.

3. I defined the behaviour that led to the error so being 'unable to indicate (sic) what issue [was] encountered' doesn't sound like we're trying very hard.2nd survey.

4. YOU GUYS NEED TO ADD THE ABILITY TO RESTART COMPLETELY AND CANCEL STARTED SURVEYS.I put the phone down for 10 minutes and the survey couldn't resume.

5. I restarted my phone, retry from the survey conductor's link, and always eventually ended up back at the spinning wheel.

6. No way to proceed with survey after that.Once again, I'm no longer able to do mobile tests because of the app's fault.

7. Was able to finish the survey.Lately I have not been able to do tests via the app.

8. I looked through reviews and a lot of people are having this or similar issue with not being able to take tests in the last few days.

10. Had 1 that was poorly written and got soft blocked (used a generic fake email but rules made it sound like I could) and then second had a broken prototype and hit next by accident.

11. I have to uninstall the app and won't be able to finish the survey.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix UserZoom Surveys Issues

1. Fix UserZoom Surveys Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart UserZoom Surveys: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the UserZoom Surveys App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "UserZoom Surveys" » Open UserZoom Surveys » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for UserZoom Surveys » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear UserZoom Surveys app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from UserZoom Surveys servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "UserZoom Surveys" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check UserZoom Surveys app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, UserZoom Surveys might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall UserZoom Surveys. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall UserZoom Surveys then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing UserZoom Surveys not working


2. Fix UserZoom Surveys Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make UserZoom Surveys be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to UserZoom Surveys not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, UserZoom Surveys may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
