Lexus En Customer Insights

1. You would expect that by canceling the subscription, you should still be able to use the Enform app until the end of the cycle/month (April) but when I called, one of the agents said since I canceled it already I will have to pay $16 again to have for the month of March to activate it?????? WHAT???? Basically, I paid for a service I never got to use and they want me to pay again to start it up AGAIN???? I don't know what kind of business model they are using but it sounds like they need to fix it.App needs a lot of improvement.

2. But at least unlike the "Places of interest" in the car, it does not list dozens of entries with the same name and no way to differentiate them.I've never had issues besides sometimes having to log back in from time to time and now they added ALEXA which is freaking awesome! It's very responsive too and I don't need to click Anything I just say Alexa and it responds.

3. I've used the Alexa app, iheart radio and even Pandora when it was available on the App Suite and always disconnects the music stops and I have to reconnect and on top of that it has to run in the background to work, well that's just dumb.

4. Even though no one use this app for navigation it would be nice at least to send address/location to cars navigation.This app is horrible constantly disconnects from the car making all of the Enform apps completely useless.

5. Toyota/Lexus needs to hire some competent programmers who can fix their crappy app so they won't lose more customers like me.The Lexus Enform app (multiple of them) is a hit or miss and takes about 20-60 seconds for auto-start or lock/unlock to execute.

6. It works pretty good for the free Pandora and for Pandora Plus, but it just gives errors without playing any music since I upgraded my Pandora account to a premium account.

7. What I have had to do is just connect to Bluetooth in my car and use the media Bluetooth source input and play my music apps individuallyNeeds substantial improvement! I have a 2017 model and the App never connects automatically.

8. It find places but then when you tell it to map it, it says saved under "saved directions" but that option doesn't exist in my 2015 Lexus ct200h F-Sport, hopefully they fix but but really cool add even after this long.

9. When the app first switched over to Alexa it was working fine, but weeks later it lacks connectivity and I find myself frustrated trying to say commands.Each release seems to get harder to use.

10. I found it good for searching and listing an address to send to the vehicle, but how to delete a listed address I no longer need? I still have not figured that out.

11. I have to click on the Enform App Suite icon, and then close the app to get the music to stop playing.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Lexus En Issues

1. Fix Lexus En Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Lexus En: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Lexus En App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lexus En" » Open Lexus Enform App Suite » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lexus En » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Lexus Enform App Suite app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lexus En servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lexus Enform App Suite" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Lexus En app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lexus En might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Lexus En. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lexus En then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lexus En not working


2. Fix Lexus En Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lexus En be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lexus En not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lexus En may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • For the last 20 years I have been driving Lexus. From 2014-2016 I leased an ES350. in 2016 I traded it in for a GX340. Until recently I noticed I had been charged for the Lexus Enform service monthly for the four years plus since I turned in that vehicle. If this is not resolved I will never purchase or lease another Lexus vehicle again. I submitted proof that I have not driven the vehicle I was being charged for since 2016 and I still have not been refunded. Kindly refund before I seek legal action. Thank you.
