Even now, while adding a new or missing place has gotten better, it still needs a dedicated page to place the new listing's location map pinpointer; and review photos are still posting with incorrect orientation (sideways, upside down).They have implemented a travel feed that dominates the app with videos, pictures and articles from third party sites.

2. This is a really good app for finding the best user-rated activities in an area, I use TripAdvisor all the time to scope out what activities are available.My wife and I have used this app for years for conducting travel research, building daily itineraries, etc.

3. Unbelievable! We're already looking for another Travel app!!This app used to be the best thing for world travel, now it appear to be a social media app... And, short of finding a paid ad for a restaurant in the city you want to travel to a really hard to navigate one at that.

4. I use the app because I like to get information from TripAdvisor, especially lists of top things to do or places to eat in a location, but that data is now hidden between large displays from other websites that they are porting in making it much less user friendly and much less useful.

1. Fix Tripadvisor Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Tripadvisor: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Tripadvisor App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Tripadvisor" » Open Tripadvisor: Plan & Book Trips » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Tripadvisor » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Tripadvisor: Plan & Book Trips app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Tripadvisor servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Tripadvisor: Plan & Book Trips" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Tripadvisor app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Tripadvisor might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Tripadvisor. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Tripadvisor then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Tripadvisor not working

2. Fix Tripadvisor Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Tripadvisor be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Tripadvisor not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Tripadvisor may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
