TriNet Customer Insights

1. Just continues to show the old checking account info.App shows "Policies" web view when logging in, but the view just shows a cryptic 401 error and won't let me proceed.

2. Then they added the feature back and even emailed me to let me know! What a great company.Horrible experience trying to update direct deposit info.

3. After logging in it only displays the word Policy on a black blank screen with some coding jargon.Can't login anymore.

4. Doesn't let you copy / paste account info, and worse yet, UI Never indicates it has successfully received new account info.

5. Sure you have to use a computer to accept terms and conditions but after that the app works great.

6. Not sure what is going on.App stopped working with latest update.

7. Insurance cards, PTO, FSA details, Tax info, pay stubs, and much more I can't recall off the top of my head.

8. What an incredible waste of timeAll of a sudden I'm just getting a white page with some coding at the top.

9. Website login immediately kicks me out saying I've been inactive for 45 minutes, even though I just logged in.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TriNet Issues

1. Fix TriNet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TriNet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TriNet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TriNet" » Open TriNet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TriNet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TriNet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TriNet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TriNet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TriNet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TriNet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TriNet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TriNet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TriNet not working


2. Fix TriNet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TriNet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TriNet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TriNet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
