1. Also seriously don't understand the tuning method now, I flatten the flute hugely and it makes no difference to where the line ends up, not sure it's working for me anymore.I had previously given a glowing 5* review however after using the app further I've discovered that after the initial tutorials you must subscribe to the premium app which is over £100.
2. Sad.This whole time I thought music's apps were only for piano and strings, and until now I thought I would never find a music app for flutes :') I'm currently an intermediate flute and I'm trying to find ways to improve and get 3rd chair (currently 4th).
3. But with the lasts updates, I got really frustrated with the features that are gone, like Études, Scales (not sure if this is a error, cause still can see the C major scale that have been added previously to my favorites) and even the tool for simply search in the app.
4. There is also a mode where you can just pick the songs you want to play by genre.Absolute beginner here... I spent three days trying to make a sound, and all I did was get dizzy.
5. After finish advanced course, probably don't see any reason to keep paying for it.When I returned to the app for a second lesson I learned the "premium" version is the only option as without it you only get one lesson.
6. In Challenge Mode, a small selection of songs with varying difficulty levels is presented each week, and you try to get a higher score than other app users.
7. I'm not sure if I will continue with this app, so far I find it just frustrating... and expensive! 😑All in all a decent enough app to teach you flute by yourself, especially since there are an unfortunate few options to compare.
8. Don't present as a free app with a premium option if that's not what you are.Been using the premium version for a few months as a complete novice.
9. :))Gone through all the lessons, so I went to do the scales, warm ups and songs but they all have notes the lessons haven't covered.
10. It was great when you could see your progress by colour, it was easy to see which of your previous songs you could go back to an improve.
11. Since the three "skills" you're measured against in each lesson are all above 80% but only worth 1 star, beginners will quickly lose motivation to continue.
