1. Now the app is not compatible with my device, AARGH! Come on guys, we don't all have top of the range phones, but enjoy good music.I restore old valve radios and wanted the app to play Gold through Bluetooth conversions to example the clarity of my work on period correct music.

Also ... your personal detail requirement to listen was a piece of cake to circumnavigate for me .... but it SHOULDNT BE A REQUIREMENT for anyone.Was ok,but now after a few minutes it stops saying I'm offline,I have unlimited data and WiFi so no reason why I would be offline? very frustrating when in the shower and have to keep opening the app every few minutes to get it to play.

3. Rating is based on mobile app only.I downloaded the gold radio app but it switched to capitol or smooth or lbc but not Gold like my old phone does.

4. However,it says queued and won't download now I haven't changed my phone (s9) or settings Tried Reloading the Gold app ,but still have this issue.

5. Why? Same issue about 3 months ago stop start!I would have give it no stars for my review, but it wouldn't let me post with zerour stars! Always listened on the app, on my way to/from work.

6. Went round and round for about an hour, left my phone for a while came back to try submitting again and the useless thing said competition already entered with that email.

7. Would be bloody nice to inform me that anything I clicked on had actually worked .Have used this app for 2 years,I like to download Destination Midnight and listen later in the car.

8. I only want Gold radioWorked well for a few days, then insisted that I should register a user id.

9. All other Global stations are on the TV guide, why not Gold.

10. Downloaded the app worked great for 15 minutes then booted me off and asked for my details.

11. Barely any lag or interference.Love the music on this stationI ticked the box to indicate that i stay in this app for along time.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Gold Radio Issues

1. Fix Gold Radio Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Gold Radio: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Gold Radio App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Gold Radio" » Open Gold Radio by Global Player » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Gold Radio » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Gold Radio by Global Player app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Gold Radio servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Gold Radio by Global Player" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Gold Radio app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Gold Radio might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Gold Radio. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Gold Radio then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Gold Radio not working


2. Fix Gold Radio Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Gold Radio be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Gold Radio not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Gold Radio may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
