Spend some advertising revenue in upgrading and PLEASE tell me how to stop the notifications.Brilliant, for the simple fact that, as well as catch-up, one can rewind live radio and then skip the tedious, banal and monotonous adverts! Don't 'ask Alexa' - it'll only play you live radio broadcasts - unless you're the type of person who only likes music/noise in the background, not really taking any notice what's being played! Greatest Hits Radio have missed out with their app - actually charging for no adverts! I, for one, now only use it for catch-up, obviously skipping them as I listen.I've had this installed for some time but recently it pauses after about 7 minutes or so, turns out I've managed to sort it out in the system management on the phone, allow it to remain open when phone sleeps.Absolutely useless.

2. Will definitely get 5 stars if this is fixed.Playback speed! Glad to see this introduced, but why not just a slider? The sweet spot (for me at least) is somewhere around 1.5x, so why only allow 1.2x, 1.5x and 1.8x? I'm listening to Sangita and her normal speed of talking (like many speakers in my experience) needs 1.4x, as at 1.5x she is too fast to understand sometimes.I discovered Global Player by chance after hearing the name mentioned on Heart Radio a couple of years ago.

3. I downloaded it and was blown away! For free you can stream and fast forward songs on live radio, listen to tons of live playlists (I love the Radio X best of British), download shows from the past week from over a dozen radio stations to listen offline.

4. I thought it was my phone at first stopping the app from running in the background, but I noticed I was getting an error message saying an unexpected error has occurred with the global player app causing it to stop.

5. I use this app mainly to listen to radio x live, but there is an issue where it just stops .

6. I can't listen on catch-up without downloading the programme to my phone.

7. I can't listen live and rewind to earlier in the programme.

8. Also, the app doesn't work with Android Auto, so I can no longer listen in my car.

9. Have switched to Tune In Radio instead.Unable to add podcasts.

10. On my phone can find no way of clearing "Continue listening" or remembering stations.

1. Restart Global Player Radio & Podcasts: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Global Player Radio & Podcasts App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Global Player Radio & Podcasts" » Open Global Player Radio & Podcasts » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Global Player Radio & Podcasts » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Global Player Radio & Podcasts app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Global Player Radio & Podcasts servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Global Player Radio & Podcasts" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Global Player Radio & Podcasts app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Global Player Radio & Podcasts might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Global Player Radio & Podcasts. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Global Player Radio & Podcasts then reinstall.
