1. Tenda WiFi App provides users with smart Tenda home product management services, meeting the requirements of full coverage of home networks.
2. It is a smart assistant for users to enjoy a safe, convenient and smart home network experience.
1. Whole system is watered down cheap junk! I will never buy Tenda again, bad experience and misleading advertising about their products!I couldn't connect the AX3000 MX12 router to fiber broadband using the app, so I logged in via Chrome on the laptop, and configuration was simple and easy... after configuration, the app appears to work as it should on WiFi but has connection issues on mobile data.
2. Bottom line is that I am very happyWill sell the router and app is junk! Router does not have ability to allow cameras, and other connected devices to connect to outside world because of poor screens generated in router, and is Very slow, may take a minute to gain internet access once you access router either wired or wireless.
3. Antennas are supposed to beam direct to wifi connected item, they do not! App keeps loosing password, will not allow changes and remember them, can not make changes to allow access to Internet and outside world back to connected device via app.
4. Need an option to reboot router via app, and a bandwidth monitor would be a nice feature to add.Although my system is dated and no longer receives firmware updates it is a perfectly good system for TV streaming, etc.
5. Tenda suggests the app may allow access to some settings that can help this, but it doesn't and the app is ugly and useless.Works as expected.
6. it would also be nice to have a simple on/off switch for each device.Terrible. Not sure what they did, but this app does not allow you to login and it doesn't recognize it's own signal.
7. Upon clicking the account icon in the upper right corner of the app, you are prompted to allow the app access to your photos, media and "files" on your device.
8. But it works for one person in the house and not for me, despite it being the same network, same router and correct password.
9. In order to login to the Tenda portal, the app requires ridiculously excessive access to your device.
10. I don't think I want to allow a Chinese company to access all of my files, photo and media.
11. I mean, it didn't habe a ton in the way of features to begin with and has been a bit up-and-down since getting the new router a while back.
