Why should I report an Issue with SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation?

1. Yes it does use Google Maps but when I plotted this year's first trip with it, it gave me an RV friendly route not the one that regular google maps gives.

2. Had we taken that route we would've blocked traffic and even could've caused a major accident on the blind hair-pin turns.Tech support is rapid, very helpful, and patient with a new user.

3. My questions to the developers would be: 1) Are there plans to integrate with Android Auto so I can get the directions on my truck's built-in display? 2) Are the maps and directions downloadable? I've not found that option yet but as RVers know, we are often in areas with no internet coverage.Needs work.

All of this could have been avoided had they not ignored my attempts to requesting help.I've been using this app for several years now..I love that I can set it to see rest areas and Walmart and gas stations..the only issue I have is the pic in pic takes you out of navigation if you get a call or text and you have to reset navigation..I now have turned off that feature.

5. UPDATE 2: I've now had a chance to use this newer version & while not perfect it does provide a great alternative to Google maps for RV'rs.We used this app for a long trip to the Midwest.

6. The route near the park has many hazards which Google Maps did not flag.

7. It also routed us through a path that is not RV friendly (I.E. over a lrg hill w/ sharp hair-pin, blind turns, etc.). Luckily we knew that and avoided that part and made it reroute us properly.

8. My first time using it, and it gave us a new (better) route from our stay in Missouri back to Kansas.

9. The only difficulty I experienced was, I lost my route somehow in an area without a signal, as soon as the signal came back I was able to reroute.

1. Fix SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation" » Open SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
