Why should I report an Issue with KartaView?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Grab Holdings to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. After upload, KartaView will detect salient features from the uploaded images such as signs, lanes and road curvature.

2. KartaView is a free and open platform for street level imagery.

3. Anyone can contribute images with a smartphone and the open source apps.

4. Using both new and familiar tools, anyone can then use these and other features gleaned from the images to improve OpenStreetMap.

1. I often have "can't connect" errors when wanting to view my profile, the photos seem to be taken at a lower quality than the camera can actually manage, it won't let you delete a track before uploading, or even single frames, and it would be great if there was offline mode that downloaded which roads have already been photographed.Works great! Simple to use.

2. Just wait some minutes/hours and it will show up.crashes on almost every key presses, crashes when entering the settings, crashes when trying to take a picture... The idea is good, but the implementation is not there yet.

3. Would be great if it supported external USB cameras!Can't upload pictures or panoramas from other apps, absolutely unusable for anyone who doesn't drive.

4. ☹️ Recording randomly stops, shamefully useless message: "Recording had to be stopped KartaCam recording has encountered an error".

5. I don't think this app is ready to be in the play storeWhen touching a purple line in the app, it says 'nothing there', when tapping on blank area, it suggests pictures.

6. After uploading a track, you can see the status ("processing"/"reviewing") ont he phone or on the website.

1. Fix KartaView Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart KartaView: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the KartaView App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "KartaView" » Open KartaView » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for KartaView » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear KartaView app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from KartaView servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "KartaView" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check KartaView app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, KartaView might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall KartaView. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall KartaView then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing KartaView not working

2. Fix KartaView Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make KartaView be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to KartaView not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, KartaView may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
