1. The pictures combine well with other apps like Mirror Lab for kaleidoscope or fractal effects or art filters like Varnist.Best magnifier out there! It's difficult initially, once you get a feel for how and where to hold the camera it's amazing!! You're able to clearly see the surface the tiniest grain of sand, able to see the smallest occlusion in a diamond, and probably count the pubes on a flea... Considering this is a phone app the clarity is impressive.
2. Point is not intrusive or interruptive as other apps. After trying and uninstalling three other magnifying apps, I appreciated that this app finds teeny tiny print on the back of a very small paint tube and steadies fairly quickly to sharpen the text.
3. PS this is on a Galaxy note 9 which has a very good camera, and I suspect it would be pretty useless on anything much older, or with a lower quality camera 📷 😉Holy Shnikees!! This app is hands down the best magnifier app I've ever had.
4. This is useful when trying to read white text on a black background.Pretty good, but needs stabilization, if you move at all, it tends to blur the photo.
5. But its easy enough to bring the photo into another app and edit the orientation. It's great when it works, but sometimes I have trouble getting it to focus on what I want.
6. I've talked a couple of friends into trying this app, who assumed that the app was only as good as the camera.
7. Shows perfect detail and doesn't constantly try to focus like the usual camera does when you're too close to an object.
8. They were surprised to find that it greatly exceeded their expectations! However, it is worth mentioning that when you turn the phone horizontally, it doesnt adjust.
9. Still wish I could manually focus though using a slider, screen pinch, or some other method.
10. Many times when focusing on an object up close, it will focus fine, but only for a second and will not "lock" on that focal point.Have it on every device.
11. My only improvement would be an option to turn the image into a negative, as seen on similar magnifying apps.
