1. I sent Swann multiple messages and they haven't responded to me.It seems that microphone noise is no longer transmitted, is that something to do with the latest Google /Android updates?Does not work on Android phone.

2. It has been working for me for long time now and works as it worked 3 years ago No updates, when take a picture the app restarts but it does save the picture and you can view it after restart.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Swann DigiView Issues

1. Fix Swann DigiView Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Swann DigiView: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Swann DigiView App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Swann DigiView" » Open Swann DigiView » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Swann DigiView » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Swann DigiView app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Swann DigiView servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Swann DigiView" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Swann DigiView app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Swann DigiView might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Swann DigiView. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Swann DigiView then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Swann DigiView not working


2. Fix Swann DigiView Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Swann DigiView be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Swann DigiView not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Swann DigiView may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
