1. Alexa can't find my cameras (tech support couldn't help) Really Disappointed!I haven't had the issue with video feed not loading that a lot of other people are having, but I haven't been able to use the option bar along the left side for months.

2. I guess it's time to buy a new system and different brand when I do, with an app that works!I had high hopes when i bought a camera system, unfortunately this app is a huge let down.

10. I can't watch recorded video on my phone (just skips around uncontrollably).

11. It says there aren't any cameras to be found, but they are showing on the TV that the DVR is connected to.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HomeSafe View Issues

1. Fix HomeSafe View Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HomeSafe View: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HomeSafe View App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HomeSafe View" » Open HomeSafe View » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HomeSafe View » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HomeSafe View app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HomeSafe View servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HomeSafe View" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HomeSafe View app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HomeSafe View might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HomeSafe View. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HomeSafe View then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HomeSafe View not working


2. Fix HomeSafe View Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HomeSafe View be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HomeSafe View not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HomeSafe View may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I’ve moved into a house covered by cctv using your system. Unfortunately I can’t seem to connect to the cameras. I can’t work out how to get the system on my Wi-Fi
