1. Simply scan the book’s ISBN (barcode) using your device's camera as a scanner and one screen later; you’ll see the book’s AR™ level, point value and quiz number.
2. Straight Path Apps brings you the easiest, most convenient way to learn a book ‘s AR™ point value and level when you’re on the go.
3. Points Scan lets you scan a book’s barcode with your smart phone and instantly link to AR™ information.
4. Want to know how many Accelerated Reader™ points a book is worth?
5. Points Scan includes both a title and author search, as well.
6. If your book doesn't have a barcode, no problem!
7. Renaissance Learning™ developed Accelerated Reader ™ and is no way associated with Straight Path Apps.
1. Would like it to be a little more intuitive as it took a while to figure out how to remove books from the favorite list (you would think clicking the star again would do it but it doesn't) and a confirmation asking if you're sure you'd like to remove a book from your favorite list would be nice, too.Love the app.
2. Will be uninstalling immediately. Some books will not scan, but it has the option to type in the author or title.I have found that using the author works better.
3. The book is never listed and the older books are impossible to find, no matter if it's the title, author or both.
4. I wish it interfaced with the ability to submit requests for books to be added to the system (it have to go to the AR website to do that).I use this app all of the time to check the AR points and levels on books for my kids.
5. It definitely works for finding the AR levels which is what I needed it for.It hard to find the books for my child's AR points.
6. Also wish it had a book list builder and / or class library manager fuction. It mostly works well but sometimes can't find the book.
7. It makes buying new books in the correct reading grade level easier and I like knowing the AR points of books when i buy them.
8. I do like the "favorite" feature so I can save all the books my kids need to test on and remove them when they're done.
9. It's a but annoying but otherwise I like it.I attempted to scan six separate books not one of them came up on the scanner.
10. My only issue is that if the book doesn't come up using the barcode then you have to enter the title perfectly or else the book won't come up.
11. It provides the important info you need to level your classroom library, AR level, quiz number, and AR points.
