1. obviously the picture will play a part in how accurate the results are, but even a perfect pic might not get the right result cuz obviously identifying a breed by a pic alone isn't an exact science and one dogs can look like one think but be 100% proven to be something completely different, appearances can be misleading.

I can't say for sure how accurate it is because my dogs are a mix of at least 2 but probably 3 or 4 different breeds, but the app results agree almost perfectly with our best guesses for both dogs, so i think it's great.The app itself is not bad as a bit of fun, although suspect it isn't very accurate with mixed breeds.

4. Especially when considering am entire skeletal structure in a picture.actually surprised me! sometimes it fails to identify a common breed but then somehow it manages to CORRECTLY dentify random cross breeds.

6. I'm fine with free apps showing ad banners, or occasionally a short ad, but press ANY button and you're stuck with a 30s ad video AND the post-ad promotional poster that makes you wait to press the 'x'.

7. It just should lower the analysis time and have a better accuracy when people take pictures of the owners dogs.

8. I may have purchased the ad free version if I had a chance to try the app for a bit longer, but am not prepared to watch that many ads just to decide if I like it.Its something different and some what funny.

10. It all just depends on the perfect shot (all you have to do is just take a side picture of your dog looking at you helps).

1. Fix Dog Scanner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Dog Scanner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Dog Scanner App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dog Scanner" » Open Dog Scanner: Breed Recognition » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dog Scanner » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Dog Scanner: Breed Recognition app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dog Scanner servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dog Scanner: Breed Recognition" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Dog Scanner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dog Scanner might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Dog Scanner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dog Scanner then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dog Scanner not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dog Scanner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dog Scanner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dog Scanner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
