1. The chromatic tuner is decent as well and seems to pick up notes accurately as long as there isn't too much background noise.I like the Pitched Tuner app because it gives two tuning methods, using the meter, or sounding the actual note.
2. Not being restricted to guitar tuning is another plus. This is a great tuner and drone app! But because the sound through the phone was too quiet to be heard, I hooked my phone up to a speaker so I can practice scales as loud as I please up against the drone.
3. On the other hand, other apps on Google Play Store show their price, and I'm sure that Google Play Store adjusts the price listed depending on the location and payment method given by the customer.
4. Pitched Tuner has an easy interface with a few different drone options including sine wave, clarinet, keyboard, and guitar tones.
5. In my opinion the pro version should be available separately on Google Play Store and the price displayed.
6. If you don't have a speaker handy or you don't feel like connecting your speaker to your phone every time you practice, I'd suggest not installing this app if the drone is a big reason you want to get it.
7. The other view is a frequency needle, useful for tuning instruments or checking my singing pitch for a particular note.
8. But otherwise, from my experience, it works wonderfully and I highly recommend it.It is hard to find a good tuner app with a drone feature.
9. My only complaint is the drone rearticulates at regular intervals, which occasionally disturbes or distracts me from my practice excersices.A good app for what it does, but could be a real standout with one simple tweak.
10. The pitch graph section doesn't smoothly transition between connected notes as I play my instrument or sing.
11. 5 stars all around!I love that there is a feature that can play the pitches out loud, so that you can hear what a certain note sounds like.
