The Minnesota Star Tribune Customer Insights

1. It also doesn't save it's state when you switch to other apps, which means you'll have to refind the article you were reading if you leave the app and come back a minute later.Annoyingly, the app allows you to change the text size, but when set to anything but the smallest option, the top of each paragraph's text and occasionally, the end of the paragraph, is clipped.

2. Technical issues aside, the news reporting of the StarTribune is shallow and frequently leaves me wondering why so many questions were not addressed in their stories. This app is terrible on my new Moto G7.

3. An extra star added because it doesn't break my snowblower shear pins due to careless winter delivery folk throwing it in the middle of my driveway during a snowstorm.

4. It opens to display two columns of news stories, which causes the text to consist of lines only a syllable or two long.

5. Scrolling drops frames, graphics and diagrams don't render correctly, and my phone starts to feel like it's on fire after 2 minutes of using the app.

6. Love the content; hate the delivery options (physical and digital). This is by far, the worst news app I have used.

7. When I go to a different app fom this, it plays whatever video content was on the last article I visited.

8. It gives an option to send a report with technical details, which I do, but that just makes restarting the app twice as burdensome.

9. Usually, when I try to scroll down, nothing happens, but if something happens, it usually flips to a different article or opens a picture.

10. Look at the Pioneer Press app for an example of an app that just works!Constantly starts videos with sound on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ when not wanting to see videos; sometimes when the app isn't even open.

11. It doesn't work! I should have read the reviews before signing up for the digital edition.
