1. If I can I will change to a 5 once it's fixed! This App is proving to be a time, money and sanity saver! I recently have been prescribed a Low FODMAP, gluten free diet.
2. To be able to scan a barcode and pretty much instantly find out if a food is on my safe list is wonderful! The only reason I did not give the app 5 stars is that the scanner is too sensitive and will scan a package before it is focused on the barcode and then says the product info isn't available.
3. Developer's claim that this is "necessary to provide the level of service" is questionable when there are better apps out there that don't charge such a high fee.Useless. Wouldn't scan, so I reinstalled, then tried 10+ times to log back in before giving up & creating a new account.
4. I would like to be able to scan products to see if they are gluten free, low FODMAP and dairy free.
5. I'm a long time vegan who has recently adopted a low FODMAP diet.
6. It finally scanned, & every result was "this may be low, medium, or high fodmap, so look at Modash's app." Except when I scanned a can of Coke as an obvious control item.
7. I've recently had to go on the low FODMAP diet to identify my triggers and this has made things easier.
8. The vegan is less essential to me since I've been reading labels for years, but it would be nice to have both in a single view just for convenience.
9. I also like that you can submit any product that is not yet there (I mean, there's a lot of products out there!) and the developer gets back to you by email to let you know that he added it.
10. If a product isn't in their database, then I just send them a picture of product, the ingredients and a barcode and they email me back within the hour.
11. They add the product to the database and tell me if it's low, moderate or high FODMAP.
Please deleted both accounts the manual one I just made and the one linked to my gmail, along with the data collected in this app.
