Why should I report an Issue with Splice: Make more music?

1. Bugs where you can't remove items from your favorites, basically zero filter/sort options, you can't see which samples in a pack you've favorited/added at a glance, samples only play from beginning, available credits don't update in real-time (luckily there's an unintuitive refresh that seems to work), no way to search by soundpack designer, search bar is generally worthless, search ANY tag and it brings up the same packs... I LOVE Splice.

2. I realize some mobile producers are upset you can't download samples to your tablet or cell device but that is not my intent on using this app.Cool concept but most of these samples don't leave space at the end for the sound to fade out, so they're extremely hard to use in a natural way.

3. I've used splice for years, won't stop anytime soon but yea the mobile version is very limited and only good for basically finding samples if the interface allows you to that day lol.

4. My only negative is you cannot at this current time add sounds to lists you have created or favorite packs or individual samples.

5. For instance you can't see the key or BPM and things of that nature when you're looking at very samples within sample packs.

6. The timbre of the sounds isn't always the same because of this.A very good app for searching for music samples and sounds.

7. The developers really dropped the ball on this one but it is what is at this point.On the browser version of this there's a feature to search for "similar" sounds.

8. And yes you pay for it but you get access to download professional grade samples so it's a nice service.

9. It makes finding sounds and samples on the go very easy.

10. Easily download new samples to your account with the app so you have them when you return to your workstation.

11. My only complaint about the app and keeping me from 5 stars is that I can't find a way to listen to the demo track for each sample pack.

1. Fix Splice Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Splice: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Splice App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Splice" » Open Splice: Make more music » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Splice » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Splice: Make more music app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Splice servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Splice: Make more music" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Splice app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Splice might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Splice. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Splice then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Splice not working

2. Fix Splice Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Splice be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Splice not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Splice may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
