Charm Customer Insights

1. Update: To be told by the company that I can just cancel my subscription - I already paid the yearly fee - instead of a refund or a fix so I can actually use the app should tell you what you need to know about this app.Nice app, but poor resolution, here is my best thing about this app and I think, it could be better, this app has got a neural filter called texture and it does pretty well but I will appreciate it more if the Ai focus only on enlarging very tiny lines and structures as I don't basically need enlarged wrenkles and body marks for any thing, instead enlarge things like, skin pores, skin texture, cloth pattern, road pattern etc, thanksRight off the bat I can see it has all the features any good photo beautifying app should have... HOWEVER, I cannot choose to swap the person being "edited" in a multi person photo.... My face is entirely visible in a photo of me and my toddler....

2. Uninstalled.I paid $20 for the yearly premium subscription almost a month ago, and still don't have access to premium features! Sent the developer an email and it couldn't be delivered.

3. I'd be very inclined to pay for the premium features with a few extra things added... In the Artbot feature, I wish there were the option to choose a percentage of the filter being added, rather than either 100% or nothing.

4. Will happily amend my review when it doesn't feel like I threw $20 in the trash, bc the features are great when you can actually use them.Constantly tells me to "subscribe" when I've already paid the yearly fee.

5. Bummer.You pay a yearly subscription just for it to crash after you've spent time editing...and now when you want to save your photo, the options come up blank.

6. -⭐ A...... hair color doesn't look real on black hair or select exact, this apps needs a : ♦manual mode to correct hair color spillage.

7. Worst of all, when you try to cancel the prepaid subscription during the trial period, you find out that this option does not exist in the settings.

8. Not recommended at all.-⭐ Needs a variety of stickers/ realistic ones♦Needs option to : place shadow on sticker♦import our own stickers.♦awesoome if this app saved stickers for us.

9. -B......Background tool doesnt cut out good for simple pics, even worse for intricate pics or blowing hair.Erase feature no longer works at all.

10. Why is there not an option to manually set the points on the face? You have the pinch/shape option but that doesnt work well the eye area because you end up messing up the eyebrows and vise-versa.

11. At first, the app worked well with a lot of cool features but now I just want a refund because I have not been able to use it for months.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Charm Issues

1. Fix Charm Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Charm: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Charm App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Charm" » Open Charm - Photo Editor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Charm » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Charm - Photo Editor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Charm servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Charm - Photo Editor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Charm app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Charm might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Charm. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Charm then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Charm not working


2. Fix Charm Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Charm be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Charm not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Charm may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I wish to delete my selfix account but it is not giving me the option to do this. My free trial expires on the 9th June 2021. I wish for it to be cancelled by then

  • i used the 3 day free trial and deleted it the exact same day of download it, ive now had nearly £40 taken out my bank account and with me being furloughed from work and it’s christmas i need a refund please, Thanks
