Why should I report an Issue with Scanner - Scan PDF?

1. I've tried several document scanning apps, looking for one that is easy to use, doesn't contain ads, works well for sending to One Drive, and takes as little storage space as possible.

2. Even more important than all of that you can delete, add and move pages without starting the scan over! It took so many tries to find a scanning app without ads and none of the others have the last feature.

3. Every time I start to scan a new document, it defaults to No Flash and I have to change it to Flash.There are so many things I like about this app.

4. I think this could become a fantastic app... but it needs major corrective repair work done to it at this point in time.Excellent and ad-free.

5. I need to get to grips with the ID photo option now! Haven't actually noticed the ads.Just installed and tried it on Sept 4 2021.

1. Fix Scanner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Scanner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Scanner App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Scanner" » Open Scanner - Scan PDF » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Scanner » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Scanner - Scan PDF app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Scanner servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Scanner - Scan PDF" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Scanner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Scanner might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Scanner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Scanner then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Scanner not working

2. Fix Scanner Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Scanner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Scanner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Scanner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
