1. Have you ever shot two photos with different camera settings or edited photos differently and had to compare them later by swiping left and right in your gallery app?
2. Compare pictures side-by-side or on top of one another utilizing the entire screen of your smartphone.
3. Zooming in one picture will have the same effect on the other in SIDE mode.
4. Zooming and panning are synchronized, so focus and composition can easily be compared.
5. It also supports portrait and landscape orientations.
6. Taping on the screen once will switch between the first and second images in OVERLAY mode.
1. However, it would be very useful to be able to confirm selection from the single-photo/fullscreen display mode, instead of having to go back to the grid view to select the image again-- it can be difficult to find the right one again from a collection of very similar images.Worked for a while really well then it stopped working.
2. I keep forgetting in the case of (a) which image was taken on which phone, and (b) what the source image in the series was, in case I want to delete it, or edit it further.
3. Usually it just shuts down with no error messages either after I load the second image, or when I click the side button to display the images.
4. Thank you for the app, but! 😡 Why can't I choose photos via Google Photos (or any other gallery)? Only few apps, and it doesn't show all the photos I have! Hope you will help or fix this.
5. I've been comparing images from (a) two different phones, as well as (b) series of pictures taken by one phone.
6. My only wish is that it had a file browser or let you scroll through the images in the folder but that might not be possible with Google's limits.
7. That wasn't the case just one year ago, I could just write "Ditto" and it would be the first result on the list.Beginning of a good app, but I agree with JT.
8. Currently, I have to keep a pencil and paper handy if I want to do those things, so I can identify the pictures.Extremely simple app, no features apart from viewing.
9. If the option to show EXIF data to compare images is added, the app will be perfect.
10. for example, during overlay mode, images positions aren't aligned.
11. As of January 2023, just searching for Ditto does not make the app appear on Play Store search results.
