1. this one is not.Samsung time to wake up! Your app is not working and you have not done anything to fix it!! Using Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and your smart AC units and I get stuck in a loops of constant refresh unable to control any of the 5 units!! 🤯 This is mind blowing don't you care about your customers, that sounds like a question but is actually a statement! No you don't if you did we wouldn't all be 6 months and more in to NON working software! FIX IT ❗It used to work, slow and clunky, but it did work most of the time.

2. Honestly it's just easier to use the remote you get with the device unless you *really* want to be able to control it when not at home EDIT (8-Oct-2020) Timer issue seems resolved in latest update, can now access it.I always treated samsung as one of most technology driven company.

3. Please update and make it effortless to use! Why does the app need access to my contacts and photos etc also????this worked really well on Android 8 based units, but doesn't work at all with Android 9 based units.

4. I want a refund on the air con units.Messy software, every now and then but fortunately not often all four ACs at the same time lose their connection to the smartphone and it takes 7 or 8 tries for each to reconnect, very frustrating.

5. hasn't been updated in over a year, so perhaps when you are planning on buying a new air conditioner, then skip the so called smart units, because they're dependable on good software that is updated regularly.

6. I can only ever access the app via out of home and a few days ago that stopped also and when clicking on out of home, Chinese symbols appeared and never opened! I'm sure after uninstalling and reinstalling it'll take forever to find the device again just like it did last time.

7. Without granting access to even one of those listed above, app closes itself.[Oct2020 update: Now it doesn't work at all, IN nor OUT] Doesn't connect from outside home with a S10.

8. SAMSUNG says to replace units with new ones that support SmartThings.

9. For an air conditioner app??? Timer setting doesn't work, app keeps crashing.

10. Samsung, shame on you, an A/C is not a phone that you replace every 2 years, an A/C is supposed to be usable during at least 10 years, and you should support it accordingly.

11. Better avoid Samsung ACs if WiFi connection is important for you until they perfect their software.

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart Air Conditioner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Smart Air Conditioner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart Air Conditioner might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Air Conditioner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart Air Conditioner then reinstall.
