Why should I report an Issue with Renpho - Outdated Version?

1. Changing the batteries didn't help.Super easy to use and set up! I was really surprised that right out of the box (once I put in batteries) the body measurement tape and scale both synced up to the app without me having to do a thing! The measurements can be a better metric for tracking weight/size loss than a scale because your weight can change so much each day.

2. BUT... As others have mentioned, the advertisement with that health app you want us to download is just ridiculous to pop up every time! I just checked it out it only has 2.1 Stars!! Why would we want to download some app with only 2.1 Stars?!?!? Also, I want to compare it to the day before weigh-in ,not a year ago,and I can't reset it(I do the reset bit it won't take) Not very user friendly.This scale and application was quite instrumental in my recent 60 lb.

3. Very disappointed!Read a lot of bad reviews about this app, after having already purchased the scale (which had good ratings), so I got a little worried, but I've had the scale and app for several weeks now and it works 100% great, no issues.

4. I shared the error codes with Renpho and the customer service feedback was telling me how to use my scale (stupid stuff like telling me to stand on my scale); I have been using this scale for 3 years.

5. However, after a recent update the app stopped communicating with the scale and they want me to download their Health app.

6. I would not be where I am now in terms of weight loss without this product and app.This app and the scale are great.

7. Now it's basically a regular scale that I have to manually input my weight into the app, so I no longer get the information that I was the reason for getting the scale.

8. There are no ads either.Update: I decided to give it one more try before I got a new scale and it worked perfectly the first few times and I was ready to give it 5 stars.

9. The scale's bluetooth still works as I can see and communicate with it using bluetooth diagnostic tools.

10. I just opened the app today, and they've fixed the ranges, so I'm now completely happy with the app.The scale worked at first.

11. I've followed the troubleshooting advice to delete the scale then re-pair it on the app and that worked at first, but not any more.

1. Fix Renpho Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Renpho: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Renpho App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Renpho" » Open Renpho - Outdated Version » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Renpho » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Renpho - Outdated Version app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Renpho servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Renpho - Outdated Version" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Renpho app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Renpho might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Renpho. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Renpho then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Renpho not working

2. Fix Renpho Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Renpho be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Renpho not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Renpho may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
