myPrudential Customer Insights

1. For some reason you still have me to upload my identification document for adding a new credit card to pay my premium and the application keeps prompting file size should not exceed 5MB where in fact the file is really smaller than 5MB.

2. Now I tried to do it with my desktop and I need to wait for another 30 mins.never able to loginI am a developer myself and am honestly disgusted by this application.

3. A lighter (and faster) version of the application would be preferable.This is one of the worst financial app I have ever used! Not only it is slow, it is so hard to use and you get lost in the app / website.

4. The password was difficult to copy from the SMS so extra time is need to input it correctly.

5. It makes me so frustrated everytime I need to login, so I avoid the app / site altogether.

6. Interface completely NOT friendly, keep crashing when i tried to download files from the app.Horrible. A policy overdue because of this stupid APP.

7. Shame to all the developers who made this piece of 🗑️ and thinking that this is production-ready.Ever since I upgraded to One UI4, I was unable to login.

8. As others have commented, crashes on Pixel 4XL phone when login is clicked.

9. And the app crashes on my pixel 4 everytime I click login button.I couldn't even log in to the app yet.

10. I am a UX designers and it makes me really wonder which idiot in your project team set this 1 min time limit.

11. Whoever design the system have no sense of user practicality and experience, it doesn't seem they know what they are doing.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myPrudential Issues

1. Fix myPrudential Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myPrudential: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myPrudential App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myPrudential" » Open myPrudential » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myPrudential » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myPrudential app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myPrudential servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myPrudential" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myPrudential app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myPrudential might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myPrudential. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myPrudential then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myPrudential not working


2. Fix myPrudential Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myPrudential be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myPrudential not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myPrudential may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
